In the present era, the implementation of learning through computer is the main concern for the schools. To be successful the knowledge of computer has became imperative. Thus, to familiarize children with the use of computer, we are presenting our new computer series Prachi Browse the World within the framework of the revised syllabus of computer learning for classes I to VIII. The main curriculum objective is to shift from the traditional methods of rote learning to meaningful learning to enhance the aesthetic sensitivity of students by encouraging them to learn beyond the book. The topics are presented in a sequential manner with perfection and the series has been designed to meet the needs of the beginners. Special attention has been paid to explain the concepts of computer and its applications. Besides, the series has plethora of assessments/tests to evaluate the learning of the learners at regular intervals.
